INSG: The World Cnsumption of Nickel in 2008 Got to the Highest Point of Historical Record
According to the LEM, INSG said in Thursday: the world consumption of nickel in 2008 got to the highest point of historical record because of the increase of output of nickle,especially in China. It was estimated by INSG that smelted nickel will increase by13% to 1,470,000 tons, more than 1330000 tons in 2007.The consumption of nickel in 2007 fell by comparing with140,000 tons in 2006. And world output of smelted nickle will increase by 6.9% to 1,540,000 tons . INSG also said that the world output of smelted nickle in 2007 was 1,440,000 tons, higher than 1,350,000 tons in 2006. INSG explained that tha data of 2008 was estimated without considering any factors that may stop manufacturing. |
