Five Years Plan

      Adopting self-researched and successfully practiced new technologies, we’ll expand the capacity of recycling economy covering Cu, Co and Ni and establish an 120 ha of GRM Industrial Zone. Thence millions of solid hazardous residues contain Cu, Co and Ni will be processed here. We can recover 5,000mt/a of Ni, 10,000mt/a of Cu, 10,000mt/a of Zn, 500mt/a of cobalt and other metal like Cr and Fe. The capacity of lithium products will be 3,000mt/a. And GRM will achieve the goal on releasing the pressure on environmental protection, on energy-saving & exhaust-reducing and on recycling of resources.  

      With the unique technical support of leaching laterite at atmospheric pressure, Jiangxi Jiang Li Sci-Tech Co., Ltd has completed the construction on production line for 5,000mt/a of electrolytic nickel, which was researched, designed and built by ourselves. The production lines for 20,000mt/a of electrolytic nickel and 120,000mt/a of zinc electrolysis are still in construction and supposed to be run at the end of 2008.Thence a 333 ha of recycling economy industrial group will be formed within five years after the expansion on 50,000mt/a of copper cathode, 300,000mt/a of zinc electrolysis and 600,000mt/a of sulfuric acid.

      The output of lithium products in Jiangxi Jiang Li New Materials Co.,Ltd will be stable. We’ll produce more refined products like lithium carbonate, battery grade.

      To fully guarantee the yield in lithium plants, we’ll expand the capacity for spodumene to 55,000mt/a in Maerkang Lithium Development Co.,Ltd.

      The production line for 3,000mt/a of lithium products and lithium metal in Maerkang Lithium New materials Co.,Ltd will be constructed to optimize the allocation of resources.

      The geologic survey in Tibet Lunlang Zn&Pb ore will be promoted. We’ll expand the capacity of mining and processing to 3,000mt/day to ensure more than 30,000 metal ton per year of output of zinc.

      Moving forward the cooperation in other countries, we’ll establish the supplying bases for ores in Indonesia, the Philippines and North Korea, etc.

      GRM will contribute about RMB30 billion of production value and more than RMB4 billion of profit as soon as we achieved the above-mentioned goal.
